Voice Quality Help!
 

ok wen im fixin my vocals on a track....... wat do u guys suggest for fixin it... i see EQ for my track.... and the it shows bars and if i wanna raise or lower the trebble, the mid (?? dont know wat that one is ??), and the bass..... wat do u suggest to do to make the vocals better (wen rappin) overall... cuz ive been messin with it and it juss sounds...... different.... not really better... the trebble takes out the distortion, like the Ps and Bs, but then it juss sounds alil scratchy to me... and then addin bass puts more on the Ps and shit, but somtimes it sounds alil smoother...... HELP ON EQ

damn...... thanx nygma man..... but i got acid... i think i might juss get cool edit for free cuz thats all everybody uses.... even tho theres gotta be a reason acid costs more... i cant get no help... yo do u got anything i can do to filter out my voice that doesnt have to do with changing settings??? like anyway i can make my mic better.... i heard ppl talkin about the bootleg filter or sum shit but they didnt explain it.... fuckers... lmao, HELP!!! (mic: $20)

Word......the way I see it is you have two choices....

1. Put a sock over your mic. This is one way to bootleg a condensor
(I used to use this)

2. Get a wire hanger and make a small circle with it having the excess wire hanger used as a stand. Put a small piece of pantyhose over the circle. This also can be used as a consensor.
(The one I use now)

yo on cool edit when u do chorus 5voives or echo on yo spit so it snds betta is dere a way 2 sharpen your rap afta dat so u keep da effect but can still hear lyrics?
