expressions given by an everyday survivor
giving impressions that each day he's growing stronger
but you could never be more wrong, expressions are opaque
for if its linear on the surface inside there are breaks
it takes more than a man to admit that he's grieving
the worse thing you could perform is to go on disbelieving
but hes trying and therefore grateful for his gift
the one that god gave him when he took his first breath
present times for him cause distinguished dreams
nothings what it seems, transparent asthough hes unseen
nor heard, when awoken his underspoken past blurs
his minds' a slur as if left behind in society
im trying o so hard is there no helping me?
yes i am that person, constantly pondering wondering
what life is about, i'll make it either way with or without
and in the end we'll all grow older, but at least i can look back..

knowing i was a soldier.
