FL Beat making help???
 

Can anyone who has FL aka fruity loops tell me how or give me some better ways to make beats.WoRd up!

use tha samples first..cause making beats from scratch is hard work...i suggest u click on tha pre-made beats, and make ur own from there...

Yeah either do what red beam said, or you can do what i do and let somebody you know make a quick messed up beat or so, then leave some of the sounds in there and add/remove what you want in there.

^i like that idea...but when i make a tight one, they gunna try and want credit for it too...lol...but FL aint tha type of beat program that'll give u a lil jon beat...if u want all that, u gotta work in tha studio, and thats hella hard

nu uh..my boy black~magik makes tight ass beats off of fruity loops..BETTER than some of lil jon's stuff...and dat's no joke...AND he makes them from scratch! dont ask for nun though cuz he dont give them to people(only his crew).

i dont want none...he just got skillz then, cause that shit is hard to me...all of it, i was tryna hang up my rapping career, cause im not even a rapper, and start making beats, but i dunno about it...

werd...making beats is mad hard...my friend makes crazy techno shit on fl...i tick the bpm way down and you can rap over it...he should def start making rap beats though because nobody listens to techno...but yeah you can make ill beats on fl you just gotta get good with the piano roll...

Fruity loops aaah i'd use sunttin else cuz it aint all dat great....find some one you know who might have the equiptment..if i wanted to go to my boy kevin's house i'd be there now makin beats...but aint able to drive yet...ya feel me on this one?

Yea i got the demo t0o dat why it kind of harder but still i don't know i been practcing with the sample beats and making them better to make my own and it kind of works better woRd up

Dayum ya'll. I don't usually give away my secrects, but it must be done cause there's no hater in me......

Check this out. You CAN make some real ill shit on FL. I actually started making my beats on the MTV Music Generator on the PS One back in 99, which pretty much showed me how to structure a track once I got FL. You won't believe the stuff I made with that little PS game. I always have been one to make something out of nothing and they put more into that particular game, than I think they ment to. That's why the other 2 aren't as good as the one the PS 2........

Anyway....

The First thing ya'll need to get is some new sounds. You can go to a site, www.beatsbymail.com, which has a lot of authentic Hip-Hop riffs, sound bites and drum wave folders. Although he charges like $40 bucks, the beat packs are a dollar a piece, and each pack has like about 50-100 different sounds in them. There is another pay site, www.modernbeats.com, which are some commerical, industry dick riders, but they got good sound in their beat pack as well. They just charge more then BBM.

Second....get you and Audiograbber....www.audiograbber.com. That will take care of you sampling and you won't have to keep fucking with that dayum scratcher. It's freeware, so you don't have to pay for it. Trust me, it's a blessing. It's not hard to use, just play with it, and you'll get it.

For those who has the demo version....go to kaaza and download the (full) version for free ya'll, or imesh or whatever shared site you got.

Now I have some help questions my self.

I wanna know what is the best way to add my voice onto the FL.
