Silent screams shattered
dreams. Alone in the dark,
schizophrenia. Oldness settles
Each wrinkle a lesson learned.
Empty hallways, painted windows,
A story on each wall. Six
am. Each rain drop accounted
for. Dusty hands, dirty feet
and sun kissed scalps. A
scary feeling on the intercom.
Dogs bite as keys rattle, being
free; He who laughs last.
