so here u go.. Topic: Rain... *Childs perspective* Clouds black, as mother nature swallows the sky, in an eternal beating explosions in the night, soldiers fall onto the grass, causing dead plants to start breathing children scared, as the city blocks are surrounded & flood'd, as rain marches to the sewers sucked under the vexpipe, to indue new life, underground & persue a new strike... while I drink this gift from God, my dad tries to fight, to survive from sinking under its might im scared but love to sleep under the drizzle, to much is far beyond, while I love just the little crackin off my window, & splashes down the screen helping anything grow thats green I twitch when I hear a crackle smash in the sky, but as I sadden, the rain takes my pain .& does itself to cry. *Animal perspective* No where to run or ride, but love as it trickles on my warm hide sleep under the cool mist in the dawn, as my young fawn drinkes the dew off a neighborhing lawn.. Jumpy as light smashes my forrage, & causes heat to hurt the green that we've come to love & need.. but the water falling from the black extingushe's the red as it continues to bleed, & spread to fast.. the plants seem healthier & vast as I watch the water spread threw the bricks.. slurp on the tracks filled with nicks, of left behind flood.. *Rain* Far back as the dynosaurs, causing destruction to emerge before man spoke words, we replenished the fruits for the herd's beast drank to stay alive, & survive healthy, to chase the weak the meek, sank as the reptile hid in our swamps, we created with floods before there was... ...hate & knots, we flooded threw the Nile to create feared legends, by puffed milds of scarcity.. God created us, & lighting married me, coming up with me where I plunge into the midst, as clouds appear people know were near, & run to closed off places intricting fear, we keep things alive & also die We were powerful before mankind found a place to store us in this dark chamber, clean us, & leave us with waterlike creatures drink us.. & hang us on your clothes, but need us, when were tear drops... |
The Rain It's been years since something was growing, no rains, no crops showing Hard work unreflected, we're rewarded with land by God that is neglected Our families are dieing of starvation, and despite many international donations And our every frustration, nothing wants to grow on our plantations So day-by-day one more dies of malnutrition, its a terrifying daily position Awaking to see your kids rib-cage, because his skin hangs off him like he got the plague Burying many before they come of age, disease florishes, 15per day die of AIDS Fuck aid, governement keeps it, they living large cos they getting paid Our only desire is a drip of rain, we aint needing another Oxfam campaign From rain we have so much to gain, pre-domiantly the growth of our sugar cane If we grew our own food, it would spark change, simultaneously lift the mood It would break the cylical cycle of poverty, decrease our dependance, eleviate disease Give us the means, to be self-sufficient and feed, our own and buy farming machines If the rain came and then it was over, afterwards the sun would begin to glow Buds would shoot, water would flow, and our crops would start to grow Amazing the power of nature and the skies, its imerciful and knows not of compromise What do I have to do to feel and trace, rain trickle down the contours of my face Its cool liquitious form, refreshing the soul, land, allowing things to be reborn Ressurecting us with its warmth, riches falling from the sky in a metaphorical silver storm Often asked why we don't sever our ties, leave this land, say our goodbyes But this outr place of origin,to leave, in the eyes of our ancestors is a sin Moreover we settled here, its peaceful, secluded, nothing to trouble the ear It is where we belong, and we will stay here until the very last one of us is gone Sitting, dreaming of rains to come, and patter on the ground like a snare drum Looking towards the sky, praying it'll quench this baron land that is dry Hoping for the clouds to bestow ,their essential contents with us below |

I like his flow better no affense I just think his topic hitting teeth grinding was iight. I like his strucutre his flow his opener to the closure and most of all he made it sound like as if I was their myself. Look me up and check out my bats peace.
