so now I lay in this bed tired and cold as I lie here alone,
I knew once you joined the army,
that you would be my only armory.
As I lie in this night thinkin of our times,
I can not stand to bare that it seemed like we where just singing church himes,
so please come back to my heart,
As I hear the news now that you are nothing in iraq but missing.

I lie in the couch reading ur last notes,
telling me that the country was like a huge parade float.
I watched the news hoping for good,
but all I hear is what is going up in this hood,
As the phone rang every night,
it was not you but our family fights,
So why do you do this to me oh cruel world,
you take away the one I love and give me a whirled,
So while I lie her trying to fight sleep,
I just sit here wishing that we where together in a peaceful sleep.
