Topical or Poem??
 

what yall think is da difference?

a topical ismore of a rap to what ever subject you guys choose

a poem has much more feeling and is wrote from the heart.

.........i think that is the dif.

A topical is a rap about a specific topic. You use beats and such for it, however, a poem is something that doesn't have to rhyme, and the structure can be messed up. Poems are something you write when you feel strongly about something, topicals are when you decide to write about something random.

Topicals help increase your creativity, and also a chance to elevate for when you write poems.

poems dont have to rhyme,poems dont have to flow,poems have a lot more styles

topicals are basically jus rappin about a topic but your not dissing anything and you have to put emotion and imagery in them a lot more

im just starting to write poems so, yeh.

to me a topical is a story explained in detail. It also rhyme's. It is pretty much a sing.

A poem is a peice of writing,that has alot of emotion behind it. It doesnt need to rhyme.

topical is mostly stuck on the topic exactly and a poem could be a freeverse or jus about alot of things

in topical battles u gotta picc a topic either u know bout or don't & go off of it

in poems it is all from da heart
