The night sky

as the stars come out and the sky turns black//
i am reminded of your face//
sit starring into the dark, wondering when you'll come back//
i know our love will never fade nor wander//
i wish you were here in my arms, if only you stayed just one moment longer//
i smell the fresh sent of rain//
with you gone all i feel now is my own pain//
i hold back the tears of lose//
i know you didn't want to hurt me//
boo i love you and everything will be okay once your return//
but until that day i will continue to yearn//
i will stay strong//
i know nothing can ever break this bond//
until the day we see each other again...
