The First Day of the Last Night How I slept, cried & wept not knowing the 1 I gave my heart to would betray me For this seems as a mistake the heavenly, divine Gods will have to fix immediately I know it’s a test, but what’s a test without the failure being worse than the pass & the past of events being something worth remembering & enjoying with laughs What I want u can’t see, 2 abstract my visuals r posted beyond the common reach Less tears, wiped away pain from my slanted eye.. no emotion despite what I think What I believe is 2 much for outer ears to understand, no 1 could reach my realm But this the best love can ever do, it’s the worst that can happen to hopeful soul Naw, you can’t support my goals, what is left for me when u aren’t around to hold Truth be known, I stray away from the dependent, to me it’s overt- to you it’s evident I can’t sit pondering where love is jumping off the roof and you just stand there and let it & tell me things as if I should forget it, learn 2 accept, don’t disclaim your blame on me So I disregard the words you speak, have spoken, tensions after tenses.. you inspired me 4 the bad I learned the good, the better, & the best is yet to come, it’s already near me |
