Road To Riches From the deepest abyss, I will arise as a holy unstoppable force Ascend to the promsie lands afar, along the untravelled course The paths will be rough, and they will test my will and character If I stand fast, I know nothing can change who I am, Who I be From every direction i will be tempted by temptations constantly Thus daily, I will kneel before an alter and kneel and pray humbily So the devils of the industry, can witness that God's protecting me And recognise his overwhelming power is following my epic rise Blessing me, ensuring that these demons do not instigate my demise Because when your back turns, friends will gaze on you with envious eyes Jealousy is a raw emotion, and it can lead to actions most unwise However, I know that I can forever rely on my blood family I know that they will rally,when war erupts around me sparadically I swear, on the moon, the stars and the gentle yet powerful oceans If success shakes hands with me, I'll reward those who have shown devotion Those who have stood with me side by side, through times of comotion Reacted to a reaction of force against me, like newtons third law of motion Been a true friend, not simply using me as a platform for their promotion I write the first eighteen lines of this poem making crucial assumptions That I will complete my jouney, and not get lost at a junction That I will attain my goals and not fail but persist in mental consumption That my rhymes stay fluid yet tight and my brain does not malfunction So in this verse, I do pledge to hope and never give up To never rest or dwindle till the finest french champagnes fill my cup And I can walk down stairs into a basement filled with ancient treasures To attain all this, I vow never to resort to drastic measures Live a life filled with expensive pleasures, a life of simple leisures The road will have snakes, and money hungry, back-stabbing bitches So I must be weary of the evils residing and living on my road to riches |

Had strong message and emotion to it, kept me focussed throughout the entire piece which is always a good thing. Vocab was impeccable, found good balance and it expressed everything just perfect. Made me stand still here and there to think about some of the aspects you handled. Like how you describe certain feelings and actions, have a personal writing style which I am definately feeling!
