yeah, barry was more fun to watch, but emmitt was a tough runner, more consistent, and he also had some spectacular moves. i'd take emmitt.

emmitt smith 100%... barry had the speed but emmitt had the ability. emmitt would run you the fuck over walter payton style. if barry hadnt retired early he would have beaten paytons record first.. but... emmitt would have broken barrys record soon after... emmitt smith was durrable, he RARELY missed a game... he played with a broken wrist after breaking it in the same game. the man was tough as nails. i was sad when he left dallas but i was glad he was still producing in arizona. yesterday when he signed that 1 day contract thus ending his fabulous career as a dallas cowboy i was very happy. happy he went out a cowboy... now both backs were outstanding but the fact of the matter is emmitt had ALL the tools... id go with Emmitt...
