I fall like sands in the hourglass my spirt spilling into sandy puddles
My knees scraping the grounds hard scratchy surface leaking a redish color
My palms cut deep as i try to rise the pressure on the wounds traping me in a vice grip of pains wrath
The tribulations of lifes struggles the weight of the universes mass crashing down my back
Try to stand shaken like falls leaves in strong winds but the branch of life holds me firmly
As i walk through hell the hands of the forgotten reaching for my limbs yet the flames unable to burn me
My face leaking blood in fountains of liquid burgandy trails
My lungs struggling grasping for air refusing to fail
Things thrown in my path i hurdle them all in leaping single bounds
But as i rise over them ..........others fall from the sky and bring me down
So i laugh as i cry live as i die inside a million times a day
And i stand then i fall curse god then call for help as i pray
I love then i hate my life a swirl of greys and blacks .....a pool of ink
Cuz i see all know nothing of what ive seen and forget the rest when i blink
My soul darkens my spirt gains strength and my body grows weary from struggles on the trail ive traveled
As the picture slowly falls away colors fade and the threads of my lifes tapestry slowly unravels
Addiction like a leech on my skin sucking my life and the love of my loved family and friends
The evil posions and toxians invading my brain causing my true thoughts to bend
Push people away cracks in my associates like icecubes thrown in the suns rays
And my true friends melt away as ive fallen into a crazed faze
Mirrors reflect a shadow my true form no more....only a phantoms apperance lasts
So for my lifes trail i give a small walk through my spirts path
