Need some tips...
Any regular weightlifters/trainers on this site know how to get rid of the DOMS? (basically its an acronym that means after-exercise soreness/stiffness in the muscles)...
Cos damn im so stiff... my abs, quads, hamstrings, shoulders, arms... Every day/night I go out on a parkour run and come back feelin like shit. Cos if im out one night and my abs give way when im tryna pull up a ledge its life or death..... Ive tried protein shakes, ice cold baths... What works now is just resting a few days.. but is there anything quicker? Tha Q im lookin in your direction... you know this kinda shit dont ya? and yes I do warm up and down correctly.. |
I know a lot about this...if you want to spend money..go to a sporting good store..and get a muscle roller..it's a rolling pin type thing that you roll on every sore muscle..and it seperates them...and stretches them individually....painlessly...other than that....stretching will do it...but make sure you hold the stretch for 30 seconds to 45 seconds..and do multiple stretches multiple times..muscles are like rubber bands...the more you stretch it..the more stretched out it gets..but if you just do it once..it's gonna go back to how it was before...also...a luke warm bath in epsom salt helps sometimes.depends on the severity

if ur sore after wegith liftin...stretch regularly....get yo ass in the tub man...and if ur sore that means ive tried to do to much...but yea just stretchin out...OR..take it like a damn man!!!

also....just a reminder....bein sore is only a bad thing if your going to do explosive movements..like sprinting...and hardcore lifting..you can still run...and lift..just do it slow...take down the weight...and don't do explosive movements...it's when your musles are all wound up and tight ...and you try to do something explosive that you will find yourself pulling..or even tearing shit
