Aight first off this is not a hate thread this is a help thread to make the forum better there will be a lot of these threads posted by me. *dwn to nusiness*


1st- The rules in the forum are good but i think the uppin thing should be edited...most sites have a uppin rule. 1 extra response of feedback to someone's thread and drop a link each time you up...and a limited amount of ups in one day.

p.s uppin includes any and every additional post you make in your thread

2nd- I see that certain "vets" or nice cats that slide on the regular who do not give 2 links to respond...there should be NOO EXCEPTIONS!!!...Theres some cats who say leave links and i'll get back to you...and yea thats good but they should still have to follow the 2 link rules...

Plus- what if a couple of the cats giving feedback dont have songs up then that emcees will not have links posted so they are inclined not to respond.

3rd- rules not followed:

1) locked the first time until links are PMed to mod...if not done in a timely matter post is deleted.

2) repeated offenses automatic deletion

3) Keep fuckin up with not following rules banned from forum

4) Not following upping rules...follows same cycle as the 2 links before you post rules

4th- mods should be responding to almost everything...and thats for any forum that should be in there job description...and the forum should be swept on the daily with the rule enforcing thats why it was stated to have more than 2 mods divide the workload that way everything is enforced. modding should not be a job of power but a job of helping the forum elevate and keeping it organized. The only way to keep a forum active is to keep it strict. Niggaz will start to learn now that they they better follow the rules which will bring up the activity and weedle out the bullshit cats who dont respond.


P.S. dont be so hasty to up...ya shit a lot of times soundclick is down.

lol, thats basically how it is...

it doesn't take but 2 secs to copy and past the links you responded to makes the mods job easier...plus it sets an example for everyone else...if one slides then another will slide then sooner or later cats wont even be really responding and they will think they can get away with it and some do. rules should be followed by everyone there shouldn't be immunity to no1. I'm not calling out any names of peeps who do it but check in the forum right now at some cats that are viewed either really nice or vets and see first hand what i'm talking about i think i responded to a couple about it as well...all i know is that boards i've been to or ran where everyone follows the rules from newbs to vets the forum has been much more active than this 1 and a lot of these boards have less members and hardly any ups and bullshit talk in the threads. just going by observation and experience.

but damn when u excited about a new song u just wanna get it up as quick as possible!

To be honest with you, the whole god damn song forum needs to be flushed down the god damn toilet. There should be rules to this shit. There are regular heads who post there and should be allowed to do that. Everyone else, including newbies, should be required to have a certain amount of money or posts to drop an audio. I felt it was disrespectful by some Noobs who came in the song forum talkin bullshit, hatin on other people's tracks, and then droppin some nonsense. I'm like, WTF!?! Here you have people who are established and elevating getting bullshit from some noob? Make them damn noobies have to clean up the forum. Make them have to reply to 4 threads before they post. Make them earn their respect in the song forum.

noobs cant harm you..if you let it get to your head..then your weak....im sure that every emcee now has been told they was wack before..it didnt stop them from doin what they doin...noobs are like blacks in some ways...they treated different because they not as equal as the majority of the people..(white)....so really fuck the newbs let them do they own thang we'll do our own.

And to me, a noobie is someone who's been here for only a few months...or has lessthan 1000 posts...or simply aint established themselves in anyway

everything you suggested basically happens...in the songs forum anyway... a couple people aren't big on leaving links, but I generally know who is leaving feedback and who isn't and I lock posts down... I delete about 35-40 posts a day in that forum, but you wouldn't know that because they're deleted... wanna help the forum elevate? drop honest feedback whenever you have time, and inform a mod of people breaking the rules... I've been here a long time now... in comparison to 10 months agao, the songs forum now is in much better shape than most of the other areas on the site, so ima keep it runnin the way it has been, thanks for your suggestion.
