Re-Designed Text League
 

Just an idea,
It may sound complicated to some but actually it is quite simple.

It is basically an idea to re-design the text league to make it run smoothly.

My idea is to run it like a Sports League type of thing...

EXPLANATION

We get people to sign up, make a max limit to the league like 15 or 20.
*NOTE* Number of participants must be even number obviously.
Once we've got 16 or 20 spots filled depending on how many the league holds then we begin.
Battles go as normal, 1-v-1 and we alternate opponents each week so you don't end up facing the same person 2-to-3 times in like 6 weeks. I have come up with a system so that people wouldn't face the same person until they have faced everybody else first.
After the week is up and voting has finished the points will go as follows
WIN: +2 DRAW: +1 LOSS: -1

Every 4 weeks there will be 1 week with Championship Matches and Relegation Matches, let me elaborate..............

CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES
Heavyweight Champ - Battle between MC's ranked 1 & 2
Middleweight Champ - Battle between MC's ranked 3 & 4
Lightweight Champ - Battle between MC's ranked 5 & 6

*So we don't always have the same ppl battling for the championships there will be a system which is basically if you WIN you are the CHAMP...congrats!!
However, if you lose then you get deducted 3 points from your total.*

RELEGATION MATCHES
As the League runs people will be able to drop their name in if they want a chance to get into the League. Then every 4 weeks, 5 people will be picked at random from the list and they will battle the bottom 5 ranked MC's in the league for a spot.
*If they WIN then they replace whoeva they beat in the League taking their acquired points and receiving an additional 3 points for winning.*
*And if the MC's on relegation win then they remain in the League with their points and they receive an additional 3 points.*

Then the League will resume for another 4 weeks and then there will be the 1 week for championships and relegations.

Just an idea to get a smoothly run league and it should increase battling on this site which some people have been complaining about in the Lyricist Lounge!!!!

If this idea takes off then I will be happy to run it with 2 more active people!!!

not a bad idea....but i hear leagues are really backed up now......but if you talk to 9th degree, maybe you can get somethin happenin with your idea....yeah...but sounds alright though

everything good exept the part bout not battlin the same person till they battle everyone else. what if someone is undefeated and someone has no wins. do u really match them up. besides that it all looks good.
