I ain't tryin to start nuthin but it's true if SevenThird drops something he gets like 20 million bits of feedback but others don't get a look in...and i been active in the song forum lately and i been hittin up some inactive threads and some of the songs are real good...i know this is a audio talk subject but even thats inactive like f*ck...considering i'm tryin to be as active as poss i woulda thought my own tracks woulda got hit up...but NO...but i ain't gonna stop coz others ain't RTF'in coz i feel others still have the right to have feedback on their tracks...so i'm jus askin some people who do audio and listen to SevenThird, Phenom & Carson only...listen to other people...you'll be surprised

Yeah, it's definitely true. It's like this everywhere; on every site.
There is always going to be that handful of people reagarded as dope
who are going to get two pages of replies while others get one
where someone says " yo i was feelin' this". Honestly though there's
not much you can do but try to help these people out yourself.
Sometimes it just takes a few replies to get the ball rolling or for
word to catch on. But i feel you man. There is definitely some stuff
worth listening to besides those who have been established as better
than the rest and I agree. People shouldn't be discouraged though
by it by any means. I know the reason it gets posted is for criticism
,though some do just want to get props, but you should do it for
yourself because it's what you want to do. And that's really more
directed towards those people who dont get those replies and feel
the same way. Anyways, like he said these people should be heard
everyone deserves at least a reply or two so they can attempt to
elevate to the level of these highly regarded heads. We're all trying to get
better, support that.

I just listened to around 60 tracks I think last night so I'll be giving some feedback soon hoping to get some back on my Spoken Word track because ain't no one checking those whatsoever...

Are you serious? Last track I posted got maybe 4 reply's. You think cats peep the mods stuff and thats it? LOL. Then how come akademic gets like 30 reply's when he drops? He's hardly a member. If cats like to peep Seven's stuff, thats cause its good and they want to peep it. And some cats peep, but are too lazy to post feed. I got about 4 pm's about the last thing I dropped, and cats talkin to me on aim & msn about it. Doesnt mean their always going to reply in your thread. Keep droppin audio for yourself, not for the handful of cats on here who will respond. And if you give good wholesome feed, cats will return it. Sometimes it just takes time. Be easy. 1

Yea i feel you i didn't mean to generalize and i know Seven is established which is why he's always got loads of feed but i am pointing this out for the newer members coz my mate D-Thug has posted 2 songs up on his account and his replies ain't gone past 5 posts yet...

best thign to do. is leave feed. and drop a link tellin' them to RTf. if they don't then tell one of the mods, and they can warn them about it. That's what Seven told me. Cuz a while back I decided to be generous, and spent like an hour jus peepin' like 12 tracks, and giving them good feed. On EACH and EVERY one of them I said "RTF" and dropped a link. Only like one or 2 of them returned it. So I told Seven bout that, and he said to let him or any other mod kno about that and he'll take care of it. If someone drops a link and asks you to RTF you should. But if you want more feed: I suggest you go give feed to others threads too.

I got 28 replies on RM, cuz I asked like 18 people to RTF, and they do it. So shit will prolly work here as well. pc

Phen pretty much summed it all up right there. Another thing to consider too, realistically, is that some people's work is just preferred over others. Someone may rather listen a track from someone who they already know what to expect, rather than someone new. This is the same reason you don't walk in music stores and just pick up any ol CD. You go for what you know. Solution to your problem? Get known. I'll leave that "get known" portion for you to figure out on your own.
