Following the topic?
I've read a lot of topicals and sometimes I will vote for who I think actually followed the topic, but then I see the polls and the other person is winning because of imagery. :huh:
I don't know bout you all, but I read if the person followed the topic before I read the verse. Cuz that is the point of topicals. Stop tryna give exposure to your battle...lmao [/sarastic]. But n topicals, i go for the person who i think had the better overall verse. imagine is one thing, but then yo verse has to be structured right, and it has to flow, and make since, and rhyming hafto be on point. thats what i look for. and which one was interesting.

Not really...
dont pay much attention ta topicals unless i know the 2 people compeiting are dope as hell...so usually the topics stay right on point when i check 'em out.. |
I'm not trying to get exposure, leave feedback if you want, that's your choice, but my point is that sometimes the people just write poetry instead of a topical. There's one difference between poetry and topicals.
