Baby Steps
LOVE... I have no idea what that word means, but I 'm willing to learn in baby steps. It crept up on me in the most beautiful manner. Adoring every aspect of my being. An overwhelming new thing--I sing! But am I ready to take on this word? Looking at my past history, I haven't been there and I haven't done that. Being with love isn't a bad thing but not knowing how to nurture it, I might find myself a little over my head--mess up--and then what?
God just told me to remember Lot's wife(Genesis 19:26). How when they walked away from the city, she looked back at what she was leaving behind, and she turned into a pillar of salt. He said "Don't look back. don't hold on to your old life". I don't know about you, but I'm not turning into a pillar of salt over the grasping of faults. I want this love but not all at once. Might I be wrong? But if this love is meant for me, it'll out last any confusion I could be harboring. And I am confused. If this love wants me, It'll understand, and not force, and not rush what's inebitable. LOVE... I have no idea what that word means, but it's incredible.
