MC IgGY vs Judicial
Battles up Monday - Check In by Wednesday - Drop by Friday - Votes by Sunday No line limit and the battler with most votes by Sunday night is the winner. If this is a topical battle, write a topical and not a poetic drop and the same is vice a versa. All Battlers must vote on 4 other battles and leave their voting links in their battle thread. Battles voted on may be from either poetry or topical battles. Extensions must be asked for by Thursday night by pming any of the mods (Acuity, Drama Queen & Elementality). No extensions will be given 4 if asked 4 on Friday night. Extensions are only given till Sunday night at the most. Every battler must nominate (not their own) one topical and poetry battle for pieces of the week, in the main forum . Only darkness meets the criteria of my hearbeat loneliness acquried by pain sufferage and defeat enclosed-heat opens paths that lead to hells burn find myself in the darkness...i guess its my turn.. Forgotten sins, unspoken words, and death invites now lookin at my world like its permanently night requestful defiance of the truth we choose not 2 speak relentless silence, all dark, all quiet, life repeats so we repetitively seekin the light to end these feelings one pull of the trigger will have my soul rising through the ceiling |

the path filled with blood and decay, provides hope for a better day But his hope is crushed and chewed up, his faith is tossed and bruised up He never should have stood up Now he is a lonely fighter at the empty battle He is the only survivor except for an injured horse and its saddle What's worse is that at first he was fighting for a nation But it betrayed him and never even gave him a stand ovation Now he walks alone followed just by his reflection His life is over, there is no room for correction. |

Both verses were pretty weak, but Judicial had more detail and imagery and flow in his verse. Concept goes to MC Iggy, but just couldn't put it all together, if you added more you would have probably taken this.. |
hmm....both were okay, woulda been nice if they were expanded a little more
but i thought judicial took it, iggy's was more of a poem, still good, but i thought judicial had better emotion/imagery.....iggy's story was better though, but i think he tried too much to rhyme....came off as forced and took aways from his verse so yeah, v/judicial |
