As a loyal Liverpool fan since i was like 3 years old I thought it only right to do an open mic in honour of their greatness in winning the UEFA Champions League for the 5th time therefore making the trophy ours!!!!
We now own it and they have to make a new one for the competition!!!

QUALIFIERS

It’s the qualifiers and we against some unknown team
This is just the preliminary step to us achieving our dream
Two matches to get in..and you know we got the team beat
But we lose the 2nd match, get through by the skin of our teeth

FIRST ROUND

Right, it’s the first round we looking at some fairly tough competition
We facing multi nations, French, Spanish and Greek opposition
Match day one..we take Monaco, potentially a hard team to beat
But strikes from Baros and Cisse seal the French team’s defeat
Onto the Greeks, we confident from our easy first match victory
The Greeks thwart us 1-0..its a match we wanna leave as history
Spanish up next, this team capable of coming hard and gettin us
But we hold em off, ends in a draw, there is nuthin separatin us
Halfway through first stage..now we play the Spaniards again
And thanks to an own goal we get a long awaited win in Spain
Now we take Monaco again, a match that we really need to win
One goal gives them the win, are chances of qualifyin are looking dim
The final game of the first round..a giant feat the fans are askin
We need 3 goals in one half, the 3rd one is sealed by our captain

FINAL 16 & QUARTER FINALS

Next round, we against the germans..people looking at us to lose
We get 3 goals against them, but a late goal takes us off the cruise
2nd leg looks tough, no one has beat them at their own ground
But a repeat 3-1 score to us sends us soaring into the next round
Up step the giants Juventus..odds are on now for us to go out
Goals from Hyppia and Luis Garcia, and we hear the fans shout
Take a lead to Turin, hopin to hold off the relentless Italian attack
But our defence is flawless, and they can’t seem to find a crack
We have some close calls and the Italians nearly break through
But we hold em to a draw..so now Chelsea, we coming for you

SEMI FINALS

Its history in the making..an all English semi final we got going
Guarantees that at the final there’ll be an English club showing
Hardest challenge we got, Chelsea already beaten us 3 times
But we looking for revenge, I mean going out now would be a crime
First leg at Stamford Bridge, the home of the glorified Blues
We play like a unit, failin to break us down got them all confused
Endin in a draw, we off to Anfield to finally settle the score
Quick off the mark to score, our fans are roaring wanting more
Considered a dubious goal..but the linesman says that he gives it
Then we hold them to the last whistle..only one goal but we win it

FINALS

This is like a dream, we goin to Istanbul to claim back our prize
Up against AC Milan..they considered the stronger of the two sides
We don’t care, we’ve beaten the best, we can take them to
But they hit us with a quick goal, now we don’t know what to do
Comin to the end of the half, can we hold them to the break
Then in the space of 5 minutes another two goals they create
Half-time, we down 3-0..we’re all deflated and falling apart
But Rafa telling us to not give up, show em that English heart
Out and we take control, Gerrard scores a sublime header
Fills us with a newfound spirit and suddenly we playin better
The ball falls to Smicer who strikes only two minutes later
Now its 3-2 and we quickly climbin outta this deep crater
Our passing is perfect, working our way through the enemy
Gerrard is brought down in the box, now we got a penalty
Now up steps Alonso, looking cool as he runs up to the spot
Keeper saves, Alonso buries the rebound almost rippin the net top
We level, take it to the end, now we play through extra time
Another 30 minutes of play, but we constantly hold our line
It’s a shootout, anything can happen, who is gonna take it
AC sky the first shot and the second shot, Dudek saves it
We in the drivers seat..but then Risse has his shot blocked
Then AC come back to draw level and we feelin rocked
Then Smicer comes up again, takes his penalty and scores
Final one, AC shoots and Dudek saves, Liverpool fans roar
Celebrations begin, Italians are blown away, amazed that we won
But its true, now the dominant Liverpool era has finally begun
Its all over we’ve done it a fifth time, now its officially our cup
Establish our dominance once again we’re Kings of Europe!!
