Battles up Monday - Check In by Wednesday - Drop by Friday - Votes by Sunday
No line limit and the battler with most votes by Sunday night is the winner. If this is a topical battle, write a topical and not a poetic drop and the same is vice a versa. All Battlers must vote on 4 other battles and leave their voting links in their battle thread. Battles voted on may be from either poetry or topical battles. If vote threads aren't in your poetry battle thread by sunday you will suffer a loss by Disqualification. Extensions must be asked for by Thursday night by pming any of the mods (Drakel, Drama Queen & Elementality). No extensions will be given 4 if asked 4 on Friday night. Extensions are only given till Sunday night at the most. If you dont ask for an extention, and drop whenever you feel like it you will be Disqualified. Do not abuse extentions, they are not to be used if you're just too lazy to drop within the confines of the circumstances. Leave reasonable explanation for your absense. If the League notices you are a slacker due to this nature you will be banned for being out-right slothfully callous. Every battler must nominate (not their own) one topical and poetry battle for pieces of the week, in the main forum . People with pieces of the week shall have their drops stickied and placed in the Pieces Of Inspiration sub forum Don't ho-show because you will be banned if you do it twice. We can understand you cannot drop due to certain circumstances but if this happens a second time, you're banned from the league for 2 weeks. If you signed up for both leagues and you no-show in one league twice, you will be banned in both leagues! Try to limit the freeposts, we will have a chat/beef thread for that. MANIACAL FRENZY A Psycho's Mind I’m obsessed I was brung here to see people suffer from they death The deep breath I take to every killing I make to every single step I love killing the whole fact of killing just makes me erupt inside Waiting to catch the eye so I can see the visions for them to die Even in a regular situation I bring strife and kill them using a knife Killing in so many ways I see the innocent acting all nice in they life Leave them in a cold case file cuz I stay away from ever being caught Gloved hands and a black mask, no fingerprints and no video tape shot I love the fact blood just bursts out the body when the throat is slit Get away from trials like OJ Simpson ………. “It just doesn’t fit!!!” I’m a massacre the black light shining on to my face telling me to do this Dripping blood all over me I love it!!! walking side by side, we stroll comfortably along the beach a gentle breeze ripples the water, an unknown, yet beautiful speech as if heaven was in reach, the bright orange horizon gleaming overwhelming the darkness, prolonging the dream until the inevitable screaming i take one last look at her....and finally, i recognize perfection then gaze upon the mystical depths, only to behold a disguised reflection this curse haunts my consciousness, manifesting my tears shed into drops of red i wanted to protect her........but now, i've condemned her instead she walks ahead, oblivious to an entire world she will never know my innocence soon overthrown by an eternal sorrow, conspired from a celestial foe and its growing inside, knowing the eventual aftermath is what pains the most because these unavoidable outbreaks stain more than just my clothes the sun leaves us...the vanishing light gives birth to its mysterious brother this dark veil holds many secrets, with intentions never to be discovered the night deepens, my spine stiffens....gasping for air my bloods turns to ice when clouds begin to form in the black sky...looks like fate's rolling the dice until the moon reveals its eerie face, beaming onto my temporary form my essence soon transformed into a hidious creature....evil is born torn from my soul, my sanity is clouded with urgencies to slaughter until the omniscient water collects silently...the life of my daughter many lives have been taken, all helpless souls bloody tears cried then dried, while the body's full of holes i stole their existence, everyone brutally bashed murdered, leaving claw slashed gashes and heads savagely smashed so i ask, do i really convert into a fabled beast, where to hell it sends me or was i able to kill my own child 'cause of unstable maniacal frenzy... _________________________________________ -meh, decided to write this week, haha.....keyed this up cause im tired of thinking |

Pen N' Paper : Well, you had a long piece here. But it was decent, imagery was decent but nothing that really captivated my mind. You're vocabulary was on-point so no flaws there. You just need to concentrate on the topic at hand because I wasn't feeling you're approach on this..
Overall - 60/100.. Drakel : Nice, yours was shorter but packed with emotion. I could visualise & a few of you're lines got me thinking. Your approach I felt was alot better, it made sense & flowed well. So due to a smoother more enjoyable read.. Overall - 75/100.. |
drakels was better, flow and imagery and i also feel it, i wasnt really feelin pen n papress as much...nicely done by both, but drakel came a bit harder
