50 Cent Spreads Good Will
 

Seems that Rapper 50 Cent is making his mark in more ways than just through diss records and rapper beef. Through his G-Unity foundation, the rapper donated $31,000 in scholarships to Queensborough Community College. The 10 scholarships will pay for a year in tuition and $300 for books for each recipient.

The money will be granted to college-bound students from Queens' Springfield Gardens High School and Hillcrest High School. "Stars emerge from all segments of a high school class, not just the top. It is my goal to help some kids who haven't met their full potential yet,” 50 Cent stated.

Eligible students must have at least a C average and write a 500-word essay. Additionally, they must have two recommendations from their teachers. Applications must be turned in by June 24 and the results will be revealed on July 15.
