Swallowing a thorn, piercing my arm with agony
Begging for me to walk unknowingly
A bitter smile, shooting up with endless ecstasy
Faith....Stay with me tonight I scream
Trembling fingers grasp the lid
Awaiting the sensation desperately
Devouring my control slowly
Go away I beg of you, run
Run to your paradise without me
Sleep is scattering up a ladder of rejection
Floating towards misery that loves company but prefers candlelight dates and
singing prostitutes
Shooting up with endless ecstasy
Edge of insanity, please insert it in my arm
Don't abandon me
Like the father who left me in the birth of winter
Like the dream that ran away with a smirk
Like these pills that release me from those relationships
Where's my needle, please
Go away I beg of you, run
Inject it, inject it into my heart and cleanse my abuse
Swallowing a thorn, let the roots emerge into my depression
