Hip-hop beef is as commons as platinum and video chicks. The beef between Lil’ Scrappy and Don P of Trillville has been simmering for quite sometime, but it is now spilling on the streets.
Sometime last year, Scrappy released an underground mixtape, Full Metal Jacket, where he accused Don of being gay, a pedofile and from the suburbs. Trillville member denies all the charges and has responded with a reply in the form of Target Practice, a new mixtape
The suburban reference started the whole beef off, Don P told BET.com.
"The biggest thing that kicked it off was when Scrappy was in XXL Magazine, talking bout we from the suburbs and he from the hood; and then went on to BET saying he don't f**k with us for the same reason,” he said. “Now keep in mind, we just came off tour, and me and him had just did a song together. So I asked this n***a at the Lloyd video shoot. [He said], "Nah, I ain't say that. I ain't mean it like that, they twisted it around."
Strangely, both rappers are signed to Lil’ Jon’s BME label and have made hit records together. Don P said that his efforts to usher in peace were ignored and he’s now assuming the offensive.
