Master P And His Sooper Dooper Rims
Master P is known too live lavishly, but his new rim deal with Asanti is taking things to a new level. The P. Miller Signature Series is available in flavors like chrome, silver, black and white, alligator skins and diamond-encrusted custom designs. But, initially P said knowledge or rims weren't his foray.
“I’m not a stunner. That’s Cash Money, that’s Baby,” he said. “I had to buy these $20 [thousand], $50 thousand dollar rims to fit on my [Bentley] Phantom because I knew [I’d need it] for the video and for the movies.”
In fact, he said a deal came about when he met with Asanti for a purchase and he and a rep got to talking.
“He said, ‘Why not come over here and do the wheel line? A lot of these artist put there name on it, but [you can] have a real company.’ This is a P.Miller signature series we have our own wheel line.”
The P.Miller Signature Series is available now and P’s new solo album, The Ghetto Bill Gates, comes out on June 21. Coincidentally (or not) the first single is an ode to rims called "I Need Dubs.”
