story of a statistic
 

the same violence that’s projected through satellites is being awarded on battle sites//
causes silence in the household cause he thought that he had to fight//
carrying teks to protect his rep is the action meant to gain their respect//
but instead, as he bent to repent, an enemy saw him and to heaven he was sent//
never had the chance to make it up to his family he couldn’t apologize//
cause he was blinded by the brutality until he finally fell with fallen eyes//

it all started when he was younger when he dreamed of being rich, he would wonder//
how it would feel to have money because he stole just to keep from hunger//
the pain he endured everyday felt like his death was being assured//
his mother was weak and his father was abusive so, for him, staying was absurd//
cause he found a family in his gang and it felt as though the rejection was purged//
first it was only vain that occurred, but then a boost of confidence emerged//
when he killed his first victim, he turned into an addict on death//
he felt revenge from his family by taking another’s breath//
but as he killed daily enemies, the gang started to like him more//
the leader was threatened and decided to make his kin roar*//
2 months went by and the young man started to realize//
the pain he caused others and the tears from his mother’s eyes//
suddenly he felt shattered, his soul felt like his mom’s when she was battered//
so he went to his room to pray for forgiveness, not that that it mattered//
cause when he approached his bed and leant down to repent//
his boss was hiding in the closet waiting to take back the life that he leant//
now his name’s on paper, just labeled as another sadistic statistic//
not a good man that tried to change his life for his family, or even a victim//

good verse not bad at all jus dont put the slashes at da end of ya verse it takes away alot from the structure but i liked ya imagery in this one it was good and you had some nice vocab also and ya flow stayed on point the whole time dis was really good 9/10
