pre amp help!!!
 

yup... i got it... prolly some basic junky one, but its the m audio music buddy lol... i havent tried settin it up yet... but i just wanna know... so far i got it like this... mic pluged to cord, cord pluged to pre amp, preamp plugged to electricicity outlet.. now i have to plug it to my computer... there is a 1/4 inch jack for both... i dunno if i have this chord... do i need it? like i can just buy it at radio shaq rite??? let me know if u can help me... :thumbup:

i had the same problem... i could find a lead that fitted in my computer so i got on the phone to my mate and he gave me this lead it has 2 connectors on one end which plugs into the input and output, and a connector that plugs into your microphone port in the back of your p.c, umm u live in america so u should be ablwe to get it from any where round there

yea you should be able to get it at any local music store, Im not sure what radio shack stocks, but its a basic chord- I have 2 chords one, with xlr hookups on both ends for the mic to pre-amp- and then another chord thats xlr to 1/2'? that goes to my 8 track-

if you wanna get something online, look up Intune Music in Poughkeepsie N.Y- Their going out of business all their shit is 50-75% off.

ps... I know radio shack sells adaptors for any size- from 1/2 to 1/4, 1/4 to 1/8- whatever you need if you can't find a chord w/ the right plugs.
