Years had passed until at last I finally realized the enormous contrast
Firmly holding fast to what in your eyes is a mere daughter miscast
Locked up inside golden cage while my soul started to produce rage
As I now gained more age, I found the strength to turn that last page
Neglected a big warning sign, all you did was decline that life of mine
Combining with your nine to five, never intertwine, thinking I was fine
