Ever felt like you were doin all you can and still
ur life seemed outta hand?
The people you loved dyin all around, you sittin
there depressed and no cause to be found
Blamin yaself when the car came, the crash so
loud still echoes in ya brain
You cry as you imagine ya friend and the shot
that ended her life and brought tears to ya eyes
The night the phone rang and u had to go
to the hospital cuz ya mom was in ICU
while your hearing Amazing Grace in your head
your realize everyone you love is dead.

Wake up this is a test, wake up, its for the best
Because now they’re not suffering anymore
The Lord has his reasons for letting them go.
Cry and cry and blame yaself, but later on
Come to God and let...him come in, because
there is your peace, He’s been where you been
you just gotta let him in.

You realize through it all life is a vapor, but why does
everyone have to go down like a sheet of paper.
Everyone’s in the ground, 6 feet is where they’re found
ur still up ahead not sure what to do, scared to think the
next might be you.
Askin the Lord pleadin for mercy, for everyone still alive
and your safety.
U feel so helpless and disconnected, wanna go and try and
relieve it.
So you try and try, but you just cannot die, you hear a voice
inside sayin you cannot lie, to yourself because you have
to be strong and go on, bigger plans for you and this is
not long.
