Funny thing how events always turn around
There’s something new about this I’ve found
I kinda know why my parents are getting a lil mad
Never spending enough time, making them a lil sad
Knowing that one day they’re gonna be gone
But not showing them the love of a first son
Well I decided that instead I’m the one that wrong
And made the decision to write a second part to this song
Makin a commitment to honor them better than before
Showing them love and spending time with them more
