Memphis Bleek. A Biter??

At the end of Memphis Bleeks intro off his new Cd he says "This is food for thought, yall do the dishes"

This is funny because the end of Jay Z's intro off of "The Dynasty" (i think thats the one) Jay says the same exact line.... and its the last line of the intro also

Hmmmm.....

Thassarap 07-24-05 06:19 PM

that aint really bitin- it's bitin if he takes a lot of a verse
if u think thats bitin, listen to sugarhill gang's "rapper's delight"
almost every line from that has been "bitten" by another rapper- generally they expect people to know where its from, they don't claim credit (ex. fat joe's gasolina line in "so much more"
anyways, jay-z prolly ghostwrote the whole album so it doesnt really matter

TeamOne 07-24-05 06:22 PM

^^^^^ haha yea....... i thought it was funny that he took the line from Jay Z..... i know that he did it on purpose, or its so coincidental if it wasnt on purpose, seeings that they were both the last line of the intro

just tryin to start sumthin........ but the reason i brought it up is that The Source had that line listed as one of Memphis Bleeks Quotables on the album..... and i was like "Hah, he didnt even write that!"

^^^ Word..................

MiSk 07-24-05 07:07 PM

yah... aint really biting... its just an intro... and their both in Rocafella... i don't see the problem with that

Why do you guys act like they are trying to get away with something? He OBVIOUSLY knew what he was doing and so did every other hip-hop head that heard it. I swear sometimes I think you guys try to boost your own ego by trying to say all these artists "bite". The only famous bite I know of is I think Swann used the "he probably pisses on his balls" line from malibus most wanted in a battle with someone.

Exercism 07-24-05 10:33 PM

its funny as fuck that someone would bite a line from another biter

Jay-z has about 45 bitten lines at the least.

Keyweezy 07-25-05 07:35 AM

It's not really biting. But uh, it's gay.

Sixth Sense 07-25-05 07:36 AM

not really considered biting jus a line cuz alot of industry cats do that exact same thing like p.diddy as we proceed to give u what u need......u kno same thing so no its not biting......
