The hip hop world will recognize the people nooones heard of. The rap world will recognize your 50's and Lil Jons.

50 and Lil Jon will be used in punchlines in a few years. People like Jay-Z and Nas will be remembered and it will be because people will feel stupid as fuck they thought "Get In My Car" was better than anything on Illmatic or Reasonable Doubt.
