Ja Rule Performance Turns Violent
A recent Ja Rule show held at Los Angeles' House of Blues turned violent when several fights broke out due to the venue's undermanned security.
Word is the sound was deficient early in the evening and that loads of people left before Ja took the stage at approximately 1 a.m. Shortly after, an altercation broke out four songs into Rule's set. House of Blues officials then threw out several patrons from the club following the first fight. Several other altercations reportedly broke out during the evening, eventually ruining the show.
"The remainder of the set was somewhat distracted by a steady flow of security issues. There were a lot of drunk people starting fights. At least four fights broke out at the show and police were called to help venue security," a concert-goer told KGET. "The fights basically broke out because the show started late, so the audience just drank. When Ja Rule came out, there was a mad rush of women to the front, so people got bumped around and pushed. Some people got out of hand."
