Word. I'm Thinking Writing A Book..Like 8 Pages Till the next chapter and such. I need A title and some Tips...Like what to do on the first Chapter? Grasp their Attention by..............? Word something Like that.

Aight it depends. You can take an everyday situation and make it big or you can take a more extreme topic like demons or whatever and talk about it. If you're going for depressed do something with suicide. Its real common. Describe every feeling, but do it in a poetic way that makes the reader feel uneasy. Like If I wanna say "I wanna kill myself". I can say "life's worth decreased, I question the need to breath" or yadayada with yo crazzzeh ass. :)

Pull them in by making it full of tension so they wanna find out what hapens next.

when writing, always keep in mind the audience you intend on writing for. Try to reflect on what their likes and dislikes are. Paint them a vivid picture that can only make them want more from the story. It has worked wonders for me.

Another tip is to organise your material, decide on the location of the story, do a profile of the main characters and what they like dislike and also what they look like. This way your story will be consistant. If twists do occur they will be evident because it will go up against the consistancy of the plot.
