Whats a good way to think of a good emcee name. I'll admit my current one is complete crap. How did you guys think up yours?

My name is metaphoric.. Noting that one of my prime interests is the future. Possibly you could use word tricks like anagrams or acronyms to come up with something ill..

Usually emcees should kind of just fall into their name for what suits them.. Just think of something you like and run with it..

man, emcee names are sumn that just come to you... i dont even remember when i got omen, i mean omen was my graffiti name loooooong ago, i remember me n my boys were makin up names to tag, one was cvs, n the other dude was "fungi" or sumn dumb like that lol... i dunno the cvs guy had it duz he went to tag "cunts of the United States" aloooong time ago n ended up lookin like cvs.... i have no idea how that came along.. but every1 needs to have an alias... i dunno omen has always been there to me... just look in a dictionary.. but pick sumn ur not gonna see everywhre

My real stage name is "Lioness", it was giving to me cause of how I attack beats

and in my circle of people alot of people depend on me
and I attack beats like I'm trying to feed my pack

my family nickname is "Storm"
cause I'm a uncontrollable force of nature

I used to go by "Toni Montana", cause I'm gangsta
and my favorite gangsta was Tony Montana outside of course Hoover

I went by "Lioness Storm", but it didn't fit me that's putting 2 different aspects of me together
that dont belong together

I then went wit "Goddess Storm", but I'm not untouchable and I wasn't really feeling that

now I go by "Demonic Storm" due to the fact I have demented thoughts
and I love getting under peoples skin

and if you think about it a Demonic Storm is some serious shit
I'm a serious MC (not NETCEE) and having a record of 15-5 (as of today) proves that
and to think I've only battled 4 females in real life
easy victories cause they didn't know how to free and spat writtens


but blah


Just take time to think about a name that will fit who you are either in person or on the mic
you'll change your name several times before you're satisfied

when you find the perfect name you'll stick with it
