Sticking the Rhymes to your Mind
 

What are some tricks you guys use to get rhymes to stick in your mind better for freestyling purposes? I hate when I basically start freestyling then a few lines later completely screw up because I don't think of a rhyme quick enough.

Usually I just try to think a line ahead.

I actually have a problem getting the first few lines of freestyling...I've heard if you say a word like "conclusion"...you write that down and then write all the words you can think off to match the number of syllables in that word which is 3 syllables... so you would write conclusion then exclusion and shit like that...the syllables dont have to match necessarily but as long as its not 1 syllable so it wont be so simple...but yea the more words you have in your head the easier you can rhyme it off the top...for me its mad easy to keep rhyming lines over and over...the hard part is making those lines hard hitting punches/personals off the top.

^^ Same here, but when you got a guy standing infront of you, shit is easy for me, but like if your just striaght fresstyling about shit, eh, I actually find that harder, lol

lol.. nah.. there's no techniqes really.. you just keep writting.. the more lines you know or well write.. the moer lines that will pop off your head.. but basicllly words jst come out n try to rhyme with it
