rapping?..........

My friend was playing some 50 cent, and I decided to listen to some more rap.

No one, Hip Hop is nothin where I live.. I got into it myself but it was shit like Wu-tang an Mobb Deep that got me wantin to do this.

A guy i met wen i was like 10 or 11 gave me a tupac cd and i been hooked ever since, All my friends were into metal and dance and now they all love hip hop, and not the commercial shit either! lol

As far as listening to rap is concerned, I got into it when I was 10 or so. My sister gave me her old Cypress Hill CD's and I was addicted...I have every single one of their albums and it has developed from there on...

In about 5th grade I realized all this rock shit wasn't for me.. so I tryed all kinds of music.. but the only one that stuck was rap.

Then, in 2003 I decided I wanted to start trying to do it.

I started in 5th grade. Some rapper lived across the street from me lol...He introduced everything to me.

Started listenin since i was REAL young, like throughout the 90s especially Pac... cuz my cousin always showed me everything, later on he introduced me to Pun and Eminem, I got into that kinda rap and listened to them constantly, and I stayed with Eminem until the eminem show and i was here and there for a year listening to old eminem and pun shit then I joined RV and learned about all the other emcees and like the past few months I got into real hip hop and been listenin to KRS, Rakim, Jin, Nas, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Immortal Technique, Chino XL, etc...I started writing shit at 12 cuz kids in my school would do their little battles and shit but i would write on and off I wasnt serious about writing until maybe 15 when I realized it could become a reality cuz of where I live its easy to get publicity and go out and get a name for yourself.

It was 8 mile yo. I be one of them 8-mile wannabe hippy-hoppers yo. best realize the truth. :cool:

ive always heard rap growin up cuz my friends have always been black...but i wanted to rap when i was making fun a 50 cent and the big rappers in our hood walked by and just started spittin and they wanted me to jion they group cuz they thought they could make this white boy hot
