The Rose Petal

Ten Thousand years from now, Earth as we know it is no Longer
Stronger, Men and their Power grew from the Calmer
Hatred and Greed, the unfortunate Seed is what got Her
Caught her, up in the mix of Wars and Slaughter
Eventually Men in there Minds thought it Wise
To build Armageddon in a Weapon...no longer hope for Compromise

Now, at it's Height Mankind ruled the Planet
Unaware its greatest enemy was Strong, Tough as Granite
They couldn’t stand it, nearly Ended themselves in all the Panic
Some created Warships, Other's Explore Ships to plan it
Exactly what the Purpose was I truly don’t know
My Opinion though, is one Man said this was so
Another argued No, and after that? The guns did Blow.

But no longer can we Dwell in the Mistakes of the Past
for now we live on Planets where can't even grow Grass
Surpass all the Ridges, false Bridges of Man
You’ll come across the Visions and the Domes made of Sand
Enter through the complex in the center of the Light
You’ll see Creation Rebuilding, the Cradle of Life

Once you're past the Sand Dunes and the Temples made of Metal
You'll encounter something different, Unexpected.... A Rose Petal
For even in this far and distant place we're forced to live,
God remains with us, providing un-contending Gifts
Reminding us that Simple things are Triple things we often want,
Smaller things are always Greater then the Treasure we once Sought.
