having trouble recording
alright we just bought a brand new dell i got CEP and i upload beats n all but when i try and record the voice dont come in all the way.... so its really low..i wish i could show ya'll then if i amplify it sounds like crap..soo any help would be good and if you tell me too turn the mic up i tried it..... :help:

You're proabably picking up a lot of floor noise. Thats the noise of the room. When you amplify your voice it also amplifies the floor noise. This why vocal isolation booths are important.. You can improve your recording by setting you mic up in a place it gets the least amount of noise, and make sure the mic is pointed in the right direction. With CEP you can also record the floor nopise for a few seconds, hilight it and save it as a profile to use the noise reduction effect. Check the CEP help file for details.

your microphone intake level is low - its adjusted in your volume controls.
start > all programs > accessories > entertainment > volume control once you open this - goto option - properties, and select "recording". Hit "ok" and it'll bring up three different sound volume level adjustors. Your mic one is on the right if you have Windows XP. Hope that helps. word. 1 |
