1.In March of 1994, Ray Charles received a Lifetime Achievement Award.
2. In October, 1993, Ray Charles received the National Medal of Arts presented by President Bill Clinton in Washington, D.C.
B. Awards
1. Ray Charles was honored in 1983 by the NAACP's Image Awards as a recipient of its "Hall of Fame Award." He also received an award that year at the NAACP's televised ceremonies for Best R&B Male Vocalist.
2.In October, 1995, Ray Charles received the Governor's Performing Arts Award.

2. He has alot come to him. His brother dies then his mother and he overcomed it.

1. The president bill clinton has said ray is his fravorite singer. Ray has earrned many awards.
2.Ray is one of the most known singers in the world and he overcomed his blindness.
