yo i was wondering how to gt rid of the hiss

isnt there a way you can take out just the hiss besides doing the hiss deduciton thing

you like do some shit so it takes out everything that sounds like the niose you selected


anyone know what im talking about?

hiss can prolly be just ckuz of the mic i kno mine doesnt have a hiss in it so i dont have to do a hiss removal..if u do that most of the times u distort ya vocals..umm..maybe ya mic is to loud or sumthin and it hisses or sumthin like that i dunno..but yea my advice is just get a new mic

it not from the mic i just recorded with my ceiling fan on and it has the ceiling fans hisss

and i remeber somone said you can pick out a certian sound and remove that sound completly from the entire track,.....

i klnow about the hiss deduction but like i said someone posted that you like upload the sound then do somehting that will remove that sound completetly

well one..u can turn off the ceilin fan..things like tv's and shit like that all bring hiss and static even tho u cant hear it..even the computer monitor really..but nah dont record low and boost..it would prolly be betta to record high and lower the volume..

^^^i lnow all that shit already...im not dumb i just accidently left my ceiling fan on and i know theres a way to get rid of the sound....but its only on protools so im gonna have to transfer my shit to my other cpu with protools so whatever..just being lazy

re record it simple as that and if you need yor shit mixed i do it for free i got some good quality too and i used a 7.99 wal-mart lab tec mic
