As OMBs got his theory thread

i figured i'd do one my daymn self:

1st theory:

Life could actually revolve around the person living life:

How do we know that everything doesn't happen from the perspective of one person. like for example, life around me could literally be AROUND ME. and on another parrallel plane of existance another person could be the centre of everything that exists around him. and there could be an infinite number of these planes.....

2nd theory:

You see how they say before you die your life flashes before your eyes; how do we know that our lifes aren't just real time flashbacks of what has already happened, which would explain why there's no way of changing our destiny as its already set to happen, with the times of our deaths being the actual present time all along, with life just being in the past

1st theory...cud be possible, but how do you explain the fact that I interact with you...unless I'm tied into your "dimension"...then that would mean my dimension intersects yours at some point in time.


2nd theory...interesting...I've also wondered how do we know we're not already dead? There have been times when I've been in accidents and things happen in slow motion. The life flashing before your eyes does happen.

with regards to your theory about already being dead....you never know because we don't know what life after death is like......

what if what we live is actually a dream and when we are asleep is when we wake up, and what exists in reality is just what our mid has the power to generate, which could explain why sometimes we have vivid dreams and sometimes we don't. it could be because sometimes we don't wish to generate something from our minds....and assuming we're dead and already departed then that means there would be nothing except the mind and its products. and maybe the mind's capabilities multiply to such a great extent that it can fall into complex dreams, which we percieve as "reality".

funnily enough that would tie in with my 1st theory seeing as if life's a dream then obviously it would revolve around oneself and could just co-exist with my second theory as we would still be dead................

Everything we face in daily life is predetermined. However our reactions to the situations we are presented with are not. There are essentually, two paths we can take.

It doesent take a genious to figure out what they are........

funny...and if u throw God into the mix, then how can a god who is Omniscient still allow free will. If he knows what we'll do before we do it, then how do we have a choice?


maybe it's like mathematics and probability...like u know the properties of something and what it'll do if u introduce external stimulants...However, people aren't that simple.

God created humans with the ability to choose between good and evil.

He ultimatly knows the choice we will make, however we are here to make it ourselves..

sounds like an illusion of free will...


but...it's baffling

I guess it's almost like a parent who gives their child free will between choclate cookies and broccoli spears...They know they child is gonna choose the cookies...

and since god is all poweful and wise, it's the same thing, except on a grander scale.

WAIT...Is it possible to surprise God though?

hmmmmmmmmm...like if the child chose the broccoli spears

but from what nostradamus says then we wouldn't be able to surprise God as he is all knowing.....i seriously cannot think of a way to do so
