Whole Concept of the Rose That Grew on Concrete...

i think this should speak for what hip-hop is about... come on people i realize that hip-hop is all about raw expression and i have been arguing that for years, but think about how much more powerful hip-hop would be if we could turn around and come out of nothing and have this positive voice in society... at the same time it would prove all the stuck-up haters of hip-hop wrong and we would actually have a voice...

this is serious..... thoughts?

I have allways loved this term, but it doesnt represent everyone. The rose that grew from concrete represents a human who raised above there life struggles to become one in society. they are a person who for some reason or another had obstacles blocking there rise in society.

Not every rapper has had a struggle, alot of rich kids who's parants have allready broken thru the concrete dont need to break thru the concrete, they simply need to grow.

but damn i love tupacs way of thinking.
