well...I was thinking about my 1st show

I don't normally drink or smoke...But, isn't it like a staple of rappers to be high or drunk during a performance?

shud I do that?...will it make performing any easier/better/fun...etc.?



Also..why is it that some of my songs I remember word for word but others I have a hard time remembering? Is that some indicator on how good the song is or how potentiallt catchy it could be?

was jus wonderin...I've spoken before thousands of people before...and I didn't feel all that nervous...BUt, performing and speaking are probably two different things

i learned a very hard lesson... never go up drunk, your slur ur speech, n it takes away from ur presence n probs means u will forget ur lyrics, have one maybe 2 drinks tops b4 hand jus for abit of "dutch courage" so to speak, but go up level headed.... simple reasons.

1) you dont wanna be stumblin round the stage or even worse, falling off it.

2) whilst under the influence you could possibly do sumthing that could put majour damage to your rep.

3) forget your words(this can happen anyway, its happened to me.. if it happens... DO NOT STOP and dont make it obvious to the crowed, jus freestyle it out)

they are my main reasons for stayin sobre when i perform... theres times i might get stoned, but that jus keeps me relaxed n doesnt really effect my set that much, but ye, try stay sober to start with, untill you have grown confidence n know ur lyrics properly e.t.c and more importantly know your set perfectly.

I'm kinda shy in real life...But, the few times I've spoken before large crowds, that shit jus kinda goes away cuz I got command over those people...well, it feels that way

wuts the best way to remember all of ur lyrics?...some of my songs I can remember easier than others...and I don't understand how or why...and I don't think it's cuz I listen to them more...jus some lyrics stick in my head

playin ur tracks over n over is best, u dnt evem need to try learn

ever wondered, why, u play a song u love over and over and over again, n then suddenly without trying, u kno the words... that for me is the best method, then after that, just constantly keep practicing andc practicing

i owuld say like leady said....go in there with about 2 drinks in you...to keep you fomr being scared or shy....but i owuld rather not i woudl like to remain first show and if i anee dit i will do what i do for the second show.......plus i want to remeber that event for ever becuase it would be my first show ever...na mean
