How can any of you possibly think racism and sexism will just go away?

No matter how many laws, legislations or policies educators and the government try to implement, it will still exist... If a woman gos to a car yard, she's gonna get treated differently... nothing you can do to change it. If an indian wears a turban to school, he's gonna get treated differently..

Its human nature to alienate people for their perceived inferiorities and differences. It would be nice to think that some day there will be no racism or sexism, but its simply an unattainable ideal.

Nah from the posts ive seen people think racism is a dying issue... Thats why i made this thread -_-

Its not that its a dying issue.

Its that certain people lack the ability to come to terms with it.

as people get older and generations move on it will never die. But it will become less and less of an issue in more and more areas.

But you gotta remember things like taking the piss out of fat people or people with squinty eyes or someting like that aint ever gonna dye either so as long as there is something different about people someone will say something stupid

i especially think it wont change..... since OMB is sexist as hell, lol

you always have deep topics when you make threads and I'd have to agree but now days it's not as evident or noticeable because of the government but also because people are chosing to do something with they're lives and once a kid figures out that his school grades go up so does his personality and self confidence as has I.

Word to OMB, racism won't stop. What's annoying though, is the paranoid fuckers who take the slightest alteration in someone's actions as racism. And especially the people who love making racial statements to other races, but get all butt-hurt when someone directs a racist comment at them.

what's so bad about a world with racism sexism and other "ism"s? As long as its' non-violent, I couldn't care less who gets pissed off by what.

True, at least until the wrong person gets pissed off and resorts to violence.
