word...went this mornin with my grand ma...mega church like 1000000 members



service was at 6:30 AM so I had to get up at like 4-ish to get ready and pick my grandmother up

Nah I dont go to church.

I dont feel I need to listen to some preacher give a sermon each week just to feel like I am faithful to god. Not to mention, I find a lot of people involved in the church to be un-intelligible simpetons blinded by their own naievity.

Churches do serve their purpose. In that they give people an outlet where they can take a small time out of their busy lives to pray to a higher power and put themselves in a good frame of mind.

However thats not something I need.

and also, its about serving the community and fellowship as a group, which makes any effort stronger.

I know exactly what happens in a church service..

And what the fuck do you expect from these people? Who says they can teach me something? Preachers most of the time are those mommas boy kids that never ACTUALLY lived before they went to bible school and became a preist..

And you expect them to be able to teach ME about life?, just cause they put a white bit of cardboard around their neck all of a sudden they are of a higher intelligence? What kind of backwards thought process is that?

Like I said, church serves its purpose..

But I dont need it.

Church is full of people who have the "the world is fucked up, but I'm ok" mentality. They look on other people with disgust and I hate that. I read the bible by myself and understand it. They are so fuckin shallow. I came to church and I had my regular clouths on and people kept lookin at me and talking so I left.

EXACTLY what I mean. Most of the Preachers never been through shit. ITs easy to be religious when you lived an easy life. Just my oppinion.

I went to church when I was younger with my grandma but it was boring as hell. It became a routine, saying the same things, old people singing like they can hardly breathe anymore.

It's kinda like "cu culian" said here (I prefered ya old name ;) ), it's basically the same thing over and over again. It's preaching but in an old-fashioned way without having eye for the modern society and modern issues.

So I say: no thanks

I second that. It's just a little hard for some people to understand though, when you say you believe but don't go to church.
