How to be more creative.
 

When I write stuff a lot of it's too simple and basic, is there a certain way I should look at things to be more creative.
Like questions i should think to myself or something

Can't really learn how to be creative.

Well...try harder to make complex shit,if basic lyrics ain't your thing.We can't just tell you how to be original.

look outside the square.

listen to some 50 cent and Ja Rule

I listen to the radio and jot concepts down off the news etc.

I usually take my original shots.

write down all your thoughts....thats what i started doing a few days ago and it helps ur writing belive me....helps u be a story teller its a good method always have a pen and pad write down how u feel and write it in rap form

OPEN and EXPAND your mind by listening to other genres of music

Me?...I listen to rap, rock, alternative, gospel, country, blues, classical, folk, dance...I listen to it all. And, I can honestly say, that I've dropped some real nice creative tracks that were inspired by other forms of music. Example: My loved/hated "MY NAME IS THA Q" intro I got from Alanis Morissette's "All I Really Want" track. If you listen to the beginning of her song, you can hear how that influenced that melody. The point is, you can get inspiration from anywhere, you just have to live. Experience life...That alone will increase your vision/creativity.
