Roots Fans will Appreciate
 

This guy I know who is a professional photographer for our largest paper went to school with the Roots. A couple years back when the Roots were here in the Summer, I went back in their trailer and met Black Thought which was cool in itself. Well he had took this photo of Black Thought a few years back, it was black and white and had Black Thought in the studio exhaling a blunt. Dope ass picture to say the least. I told him I wanted a copy of this photo along time ago, well I ran into this guy last night at a reggae spot and out the blue he hands me this black and white picture of the Roots. The thing is it's like from 1992 when they were in High School and Qwest love is about 50 pounds skinnier and has dreads. It's a dope ass pic, needless to say i'm going to get that shit framed..... :thumbup:

Roots fans would really appreciate a new album sometime soon.

No doubt, I just picked up that volume 1 and volume 2 "Essential guide to understanding the Roots", pretty dope, it's a combination of live stuff and all of the Roots classics thru the years.

Yeah, I've heard some of it but I really want some new stuff, 'cuz The Tipping Point was way too short IMO. Even though almost every song was super dope, there just wasn't enough on it to really please me.

Yeah I agree, but if anyone hasn't seen the Roots live, then your missing out. I've seen about anyone you can think of in concert and they can't even fuck with the Roots Live..... :nono:
