It appears like whoever is in charge is lackadaisical about updating them. Then, when they are updated, there's nothing really to be proud of if you actually won,. or to show for it.

*Ok ok. I am tryna piss Mim off...But, only because he's throwin a hissy fit when he knows those awards are delapidated...It's almost February and the awards for November were still up until this morning.

What you mean tossed together? Do you know how long it takes to Search everyone's work in a month? IT just started getting more organized.

Before me and Mim, it used to be just links under the winners name. We actually type paragraphs, post sigs, glorifying who won. It doesn't take 5 seconds to do, go look at the write ups from me and MIM.

What exactly are you searching?...The awards are determined by popular vote.

When we post who wins in each catergory, we post up links and works of that member (in the sub-forums).

Simple Solution...For awards that require nominations to specific threads, have the nominators post up links.


There's no written rule that says you have to post up ALL of the songs a person did for the month--i.e., for the "Best Audio Head" award. I'd suggest stating who won, posting a link to his/her soundclick, and then maybe add a small blurb about what they did that month, based on what the nominations reveal.

You can't blame him for snapping. Mimesis hasn't been the mod of the Award forum when it was unorganized and neither have I. Notice if you look in the Award forum, his threads and my threads in the sub-forum are typed in the same format (from title to content). But I think it's better to write out what someone has done the WHOLE month, since they are getting a monthly award.

And the nominations (take audio head for example), people will state the track they liked that month, and say so and so has either elevated, did a nice collab and so and so. All of that is written in sub-forum under the reason why they won the award. And people think we are writing for our own health. We actually take our time on writing "congradulation speeches", if you will, because the community of RV deserve to read something bout the members who won, instead of just seeing a link and maybe 2 sentences.

The thing is Mim. got the other threads put up, we ain't worrying bout the months before our time as a mod at the moment. It will take FOREVER to get that shit as organized as the latest threads.

I haven't checked out the awards thread in about six months.......but I always remembered them being a joke.....I'm not sure how it is now though :thumbup:™
