I wouldnt say it cures it, but it can most definately take the persons mind off of the disease so theyre not always depressed and bumming out, thus it might make them feel better instead of always being in despair.

differerence between treatment and curing........ i think that if someone laughs/jokes, and has a positive outlook, it helps their treatment alot better, and theyll have a better chance of survivin...... i saw sumthin about how its actually proven u have a better chance survivin any accident or illness by bein more positive and believin ull make it thru

word...but, Im not referring to "positive thinking"...I'm literally talking about LAUGHING...the act of laughing itself that can improve a person's condition

feel me?

I've heard info on this from various sources, some claiming that the act of laughing can not only improve your condition, but help to burn fat as well, thereby increasing your health.

Indirectly, I imagine that laughing is correlated to "positive thinking"...But, you can think positively without laughing. I understand what you all are saying though.

scientests will tell you that orgasms and laughter both have positive effects on people because of the endorphines (spelling) we release during both...cure an ailment, no...make you feel better and give you a better in general disposition, yes...and that helps overall

In early stages I believe it might be useful, but if the disease is in the later stages, the therapy only helps relieve the agony of dying.
